Professional Specialties:
- First Time Home Buyers: A special dose of patience and understanding, knowing this may be the largest purchase they have made as adults. Guidance and advice all along the way to be sure they are comfortable and in control of their own transaction.
- Move-Up Buyers: Knowledge of the market, the ability to carefully merge buying and selling to make the move as smoothly as possible.
- Transitional Buyers and Sellers: The sensitivity to work with individuals and families to minimize the stress associated with selling the homestead and/or downsizing to a more suitable living situation.
Personal Interests:
- Music - Mostly Classical in nature, sacred, choral, organ - anything that reflects true creativity and artistry, not just noise. Contemporary artists in a ballad format as well as piano soloists.
- Geneology - Intruigued by the pursuit of family history. I have worked at this since the 7th Grade when an elderly Great-Aunt recited her recollections and dates of past family members. I have valued the tremendous resources of the second largest Geneology Resource Library in the nation in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The only frustration is that your work is never completed, it is a dynamic and changing data base but can consume your thoughts and time.
- Architecture - Long-time subscriber to Old House Journal, This Old House, Dwell, and any other "house" publications. Also an avid viewer of HGTV and the many aspects of Buying, Selling, Staging, Flipping, and Restoring a home. Long-time interest in historic homes and restoration.
- Toy cars and houses - Still holding on to my childhood car collection and have added many models over the years. In the process of photographing my collection and publishing it in book form for my own amusement.
- Family and Friends - The most important focus of anyone's life. Knowing you have the support and love of those whose opinions and attitudes you value cannot be replaced.
- Serving and Caring - Selecting those who need your gifts and talents to make life easier and more pleasurable.
